# Getting to and from the airport at CLT

Flat taxi fares, where the ride apps wait, and the bus into Uptown.

## Taxis and their flat fares

Taxis wait on the outer curb of the Arrivals and Baggage Claim level in Zone 1, generally 5 a.m. to midnight. Charlotte sets flat fares rather than leaving it to the meter: $32 to Uptown, meaning anywhere inside the I-277 loop, and $16 for anything within three miles of the airport. A $2.50 airport fee is added to every trip.

## Ride apps

Ride apps pick up a floor above, on the Departures and Ticketing level, in the inner lanes at Zones 1 to 3.

## The bus

Charlotte Area Transit runs the Sprinter between the airport and Uptown, which the airport lists among its ground transport.

## Hotel courtesy vehicles

Select hotels run one, and the airport does not say which. Call from one of the four Traveler Information Centers on the Arrivals level.
