# The concourses and finding your gate at MDW

Three concourses in one square mile, and which airline uses which.

## A, B and C

Midway fits everything into one square mile, which is how the airport describes itself, and one terminal with Concourses A, B and C. Southwest uses A and B and is the reason the airport is the size it is. Delta, Allegiant, Porter and Volaris use A, and Frontier uses C.

- Terminal: Concourse A, Concourse B, Concourse C

## Which floor

Arrivals and baggage claim sit below the departures level, with the concourses running off the walkway above.

- Check-In: Upper Level Ticketing, with access to the 4th level of the parking garage and Departures.
- Mezzanine: Mezzanine Level, with access to the 3rd level of the parking garage. The chapel is on this level above Central Market.
- Departures: The security checkpoint, Central Market and Concourses A, B and C.
- Arrivals / Baggage Claim: Lower Level Baggage Claim, with access to the 1st level of the parking garage and Arrivals.

## Why it feels small

Midway calls itself the busiest square mile in the world for arriving and departing flights. The traffic is large and the building is not, which is the whole character of the place.
