What a connection here involves on foot, and the three checkpoints that decide how long it takes.
You walk it
Nothing inside Calgary needs a train or a bus. A connection is on foot, and an electric cart runs between concourses from 6 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. for anyone with mobility needs.
- Domestic Terminal
- Concourse A, Concourse B, Concourse C
- International Terminal
- Concourse D, Concourse E
Which checkpoint you face
Calgary has consolidated its domestic checkpoints into one screening area between Doors 4 and 7, open 04:00 to 01:15 or until the last flight.
Concourse D screens Canada and international flights, 05:00 to 00:30. Flights to the United States screen at Concourse E, 04:00 to 20:00, and you can reach that checkpoint no more than two hours before your scheduled departure.
Leaving the country
A connection onto a United States flight is the longest one here, because it passes American customs before the gate.
