Getting to and from the airport

YYC

Every way in and out, with what each costs and where to stand.

No train, and what runs instead

There is no rail line to this airport. Calgary Transit runs buses that meet the light rail elsewhere in the city, and everything else is a taxi, a booked ride or a car.

The bus

From the Domestic Terminal cross the roadway at Door 2 toward Pillar 7. From the International Terminal leave by Door 15 and cross toward Pillar 32. Ticket machines take cards or cash, and the 7-Eleven near Door 11 sells tickets too.

Taxis and booked rides

A taxi to downtown runs roughly $40 to $45 on the meter. Every pick-up at the terminal adds an airport access fee of $5.10 plus GST, and a drop-off adds $4.60.

Taxi stands are on the Arrivals level at Doors 1, 9 and 15. Uber and Lyft are the only ride apps the airport authorises, met at Doors 3, 12 and 15, or at Departures Doors 5 and 11 when it is busy.

Hotel shuttles

Courtesy shuttles pick up on the Arrivals level across from the terminal. Bays 16 and 17 are through Door 4, and Bay 37 is through Door 16.
